ok today as the weekend is here, for a change, instead of some serious political posts, here are something very funny for you to laugh at.

first of all, i came across this ‘malaysian political oscars’ from the blog of anil netto. this satire piece was written by huzir sulaiman. do click on the link and read it! then come back here, to watch this funny movies list which i got from a forwarded email list. i got it days ago, and when i saw this malaysian political oscars from huzir, i remember the movies, so thought mighs as well put up the two together.

tell everyone about the oscars nominations and the movies only from malaysia. at least have some break from all these depressing ISA and government takeover talk.

this video had appeared in some blogs already couple of days ago (well, what did i say about me being late always. ha!), but never mind, there just might be some who have not come across it, and since this is the weekend, thought to post it up for some laughs.

though i see it in many blogs, but most of them do not credit the creator of the video (the originator). methink the originator is this person, kavi. he mentioned about him making the parody. i spy one other blogger uploading this video on his youtube as though it is his own (with no mention of originator). well i hope i’m right because i usually like to credit a person whenever i post video or pictures. the video from kavi mentioned the title ‘bee-en downfall parody’ but the video from that person (don’t wanna mention name) mentioned it as ‘the adviser to the UMNO-BN government’.

i can’t help it. i thought not to talk about this idiot anymore but i was so amused reading what he said after meeting the PM yesterday that i just gotta get it off my chest.

this guy is so pathetic and such a laugh actually!

- he said it was the chinese reporter who incite racial sentiments bcos misquoting him. (haha!)
- he said it was koh tsu koon and the chinese leaders who ought to apologise to him instead of him apologising (hahaha!)
- after he cried out for gerakan to pull out from BN, and when gerakan did severed ties with penang umno, he said "is that professional? he (Koh) is the state BN chief and he severed ties with umno, how can he perform (his duty) like that? who is acting emotionally now?" (hahahaha!)

Church Squirrels

There were five places of worship in a small town: The Presbyterian Church, the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church, the Catholic Church, and the Jewish Synagogue.  Each church overran with pesky squirrels.

One day, the Presbyterian Church called a meeting to decide what to do about the squirrels. After much prayer and consideration they determined that the squirrels were predestined to be there and they shouldn’t interfere with God’s divine will.

In the Baptist Church the squirrels had taken up habitation in the baptistery. The deacons met and decided to put a cover on the baptistery and drown the squirrels in it. The squirrels escaped somehow and there were twice as many there next week.

The Methodist Church got together and decided that they were not in a position to harm any of God’s creatures. So, they humanely trapped the squirrels and set them free a few miles outside of town.  Three days later, the squirrels were back.

But the Catholic Church came up with the best and most effective solution. They baptized the squirrels and registered them as members of the church. Now they only see them on Christmas and Easter.

Not much was heard about the Jewish Synagogue, but they took one squirrel and had a short service with him called circumcision and they haven’t seen a squirrel on the property since.

 the christian federation of malaysia (CFM) has launched a ‘vote wisely’ campaign on 14 feb. and began distributing leaflets.

the heading of the leaflet says:

christians! be responsible and good citizens
pray for the general election! cast your votes!

in the light of the wee meng chee negaraku (national anthem) controversy, what do you think will happen if i post some different version of negaraku? should i? dare i? will the gomen made noise i insulted the national anthem? will i be charged under the national anthem act?

yesterday i received a sms from a friend on a different version of negaraku, using the haze occurrence in our country. well it made fun of the country and also of the  king. hmm… so i shouldn’t post it up?

one thing i remember is that as a kid long long long time ago, we kids (the neighbourhood) like to rattle off this one version… just the 1st line actually, with the 2nd line to rhyme with the first line. well, it was in hokkien (it’s rather lame i know but as kids, it was just for fun).

what does it mean? simply ‘tunku went to jail’. it was added just because of the rhyme ‘tunk-ku’ and ‘ka-ku’ with ‘negara-ku’. (you know how kids are. can remember how we conjure up our own poem for the ‘la la li la tam pong’ too but that is another matter).

i don’t remember our parents reprimanding us not to say this because it will be us who will go to jail instead! haha!
