busy yesterday and this weekend
yesterday afternoon was at the la salle learning centre’s 25th anniversary celebration. the learning centre has done a good job in training students in ‘learning to learn’. see my article in UCAN. i will write about yesterday’s celebration to the herald soon.
then in the evening yesterday had buffet dinner at evergreen laurel hotel. went there with my whole family – my 2 brothers and their families, my sister and my mother – 11 of us all together. friday was ‘the catch nite’ – seafood buffet! RM66.00++ per person. quite pricy but worth it as so much to eat. enjoyed the lobster very much. the christmas tree you see here was taken at the ‘laurel cafe’ where we had our buffet.
today at 10.00am will be at the little sisters of the poor new home opening ceremony and blessing by the bishop. it will end around 1.00pm with some refreshment. in the afternoon at 4.00pm, we have a ‘tea with the orang asli’ but i’m not sure if i have time to go. then in the evening at 7.00pm will be going to a batu ferringhi cafe for our malaysiakini’s citizen journalism (CJ) graudation night, where we will received our certificates.
tomorrow on sunday morning, might be joining the filipinos in our church for their christmas gathering… or might go for a facial! then in the evening at 6.00pm, it is off to the state level christmas open house at times square (organised by combined churches of penang).
phew! what a weekend (and friday).
