what a shame! rowdy penangites on xmas eve… again!

yes, again, because it happened in 2007, of which i had blog  about it.

i saw the report in the star paper (yeah yeah i still read the star – only during holiday and weekends) and try to get the news from its website but couldn”t find it.  happened at gurney drive.

saw the incident on TV news though. the revellers were really acting like hooligans attacking a rela member, so much so that he had to run away to hide in a car (he was only one person at that time while there were 10 or more of them).  the report said they attacked the police too. and of course they disturbed passing cars, mostly by spraying the artificial snow (in a can) on the cars’ windscreen.

is this their idea of having fun? attacking people and causing people to fear? i really don’t know what kind of persons are they with that kind of attitude/mentality.

the govt. should ban the artificial snow! after all it is not a requirement for xmas decoration in our country. our country has no snow lah, so why we need snow??

these young hooligans are giving a bad name to christmas! such a shameful act! as i blog 2 years ago, why do they gather on xmas eve? i understand if they gather on new year’s eve… but xmas eve? well it is because xmas is now commercialised – everbody’s celebrating it without knowing the true meaning of it. what a shame!

as a catholic who celebrate christmas and believe in the sancity of christmas, i’m very sad 🙁  and very shameful to hear of how those hooligans acted, spoiling the name of christmas.  i understand only 2 were arrested. if the police knew who they were, they ALL should be rounded up and throw in prison!!
