election commission (EC) – LIAR!!
Post on Mar.04, 2008

the EC had misled us. after agreeing to have indelible ink and so much statement about how much the ink would cost and they would be buying it – today, 4 days before polling, they announced indelible ink would not be used!! grrr!!
read about it at malaysiakini:
very angry at this flip flop turn of EC – is this action of them confirming our fear that the election is NOT free and fair??
(to be updated later.)
UPDATED
opposition expressed outrage at the %@*!^)$& EC decision! read from malaysiakini here. by right they should! we, the rakyat are also outraged!
look, in the above malaysiakini report, extract here says…..
Abdul Rashid said the use of indelible ink would not be effective as the country’s constitution allows those who refuse to have their fingernail marked with the ink to still be issued with a ballot.
He added that the use of the indelible ink could infringe the constitutional right of a voter to cast his vote, especially if the commission tries to bar someone from voting for having an ink marked in his finger.
then why can’t the amend the constitution to make it that voters must have indelible ink mark on their finger, when this case of use of indelible ink was first mooted long ago. hey, they amend the constitution just to let EC chairman, rusty… rashit… er… rashid to remain as the chairman, remember?? what the hell is happening???
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
DENY BN THE 2/3!!
VOTE OPPOSITION!

Not surprising to experience this kind of pigheaded authority. Esok lusa and tunggu tenggoh behaviour seem to be the norm in this gomen neighborhood. On top of that, they are getting usual to be rapped on the knuckles for wasting the public money!

What the EC said was true; but the fact is, it was known well before they decide to apply it. The A-G is the govt’s legal advisor and the failure to advice appropriately in regards to the law and the constitutional implication is an act of negligence or recklessness which the govt must be held accountable for the millions of dollars of taxpayers spent.

Another wayang by the EC. The reasons given were even more nonsensical.

The SPR is just following the example laid forth by Badawi, who always changes his policies midway and last minute.
My cousin once worked at Lotus-Proton. She said they were developing a car in honor of Pak Lah, called “Proton PL”. The car has a unique feature: when driving forward the car will suddenly go into ‘Reverse’ without warning.
And yes, the power windows jam after 6 months.
