as expected, dr mansor othman from PKR won the penanti by-election and now is all set to become the penang’s DCM I.

Mansor wins the seat by garnering 6,052 votes. His nearest rival is Nai Khan with 494, followed by Aminah with 392. Kamarul obtained 56 votes.
Mansor’s majority is 5,558 votes. All three independents lost their deposits.

yep the penanti by-election will be free and fair … because BN is not contesting. it will not be an expensive affair because BN is not contesting … why? without BN, there won’t be heavy police presence … and it was the heavy police presence that raked up all the expenses in by-elections!
