university students turning into gangsters
refer to the sun’s report (picture on left was taken from there), which incidentally was the only media that reported on this incident.
no time to blog further (will update in the evening) so directing you to the ever fast and comprehensive post of howsy of the sensintrovert, with video and lots of pictures.

many bloggers had blog on this incident (as you’ll notice in howsy’s blog). good to learn that this incident had raised the anger of bloggers. rightly so. it’s sad to learn that once again, we see people with the mob mentality… and now these people are U students, for goodness sake, future working citizens of the country! oh no, somebody said they are future UMNO youth members. UMNO youth can start recruiting them now.
we still don’t see any other mainstream media reporting on this except the sun and malaysiakini. no officials from UPM had spoken up either. what about our higher education minister, mustapha? he seemed to want to wash his hand off this matter when he said to leave everything to UPM. (maybe he’s too preoccupied with the issue of the controversial ethnic relationship guidebook?).
in a surprising move, PAS had spoken up to condemn these samseng. read about it here. it is in bahasa though. somebody should translate it as i find it quite interesting as there were many names mentioned. oh, and they also mentioned some other samseng incidents in other U as well, like USM and UM.
btw, OT here, surfing harakah website, i notice that there was also an article where they talked of “the media going overboard with news/report of siti and datuk k”. i fully agree as i had blog here.
