‘hantu’ dislike him

it was so funny. 3 days ago i think, i heard it on NTV7 news, the semi-value guy, in a press conference, saying something like this “rakyat tak suka samy, semua orang tak suka samy, hantu pun tak suka samy”. i burst out laughing.
(translation: the public does not like samy, everybody doesn’t like samy, even ghosts don’t like samy.)

wow! hantu does not like him? i thought it should be god since sometimes he likes to blame god whenever there is a catasprophe.

the reason for his outburst above (one of his many!) was of course because of the call from some MPs and many of the rakyat for his resignation. for context, see lone’s excellent post here.

bob of bob-jots too blog on this issue and he rightly tells us that there is no way samy is going to resign UNLESS he resign as president of MIC. a day after reading that post of bob, true enough, i heard it on tv news, this MP whom the ghost don’t like, said something like this “saya tak akan keluar selagi parti saya mahu saya, selagi saya ialah presiden parti saya. ya, telah 20 tahun saya jadi menteri dan presiden parti. parti saya yang mahu saya, yang pilih saya.”
(translation: i will not leave as long as my party wants me, as long as i’m the party’s president, yes, i had been an MP and party president for over 20 years. it’s my party that wants me, that chose me.”)

hmm… just like another party – UMNO – UMNO’s president has to be the PM? is this a trend or what in our country that the top man of a party must be one of the top minister?
