UMNO endorsed corruption

yippy! umno’s telling the world it support corruption! the win of BN’s isa with a huge majority says it all.

this is how malaysia deal with corruption.

a tainted person can be fielded as a candidate for election. a tainted person found guilty of corruption can stand as a candidate in a by-election and WIN! so true, what ku li said that if isa from umno, BN win, it means umno support corruption.

remember the previous by-election? permatang pasir. the candidate chosen was a tainted lawyer and now for bagan pinang, umno choose isa. what is umno telling u? what is umno telling the world?

Good job I must say our local Law Enforcement is doing turning a ‘blind eye’…or in this way…turning away TOTALLY from the entire incident…so it’s probably OKAY for an UMNO supporter to hurt or attack other’s, but it’s WRONG for anyone to even defend themselves against them or even TOUCH their leaders whom are their GODS in this country…

“PAS should realise by now that it is not necessarily a strong alternative for Umno among the Malay grassroots. In Bukit Gantang for example, its candidate Nizar Jamaluddin won with the help of overwhelming support from the non-Malays, especially the Chinese. It should also realise that when it wins in mixed constituencies, it is not because the Chinese love PAS but because they are voting against Umno.

So, PAS needs to get off its high horse and realise that it doesn’t actually have that much Malay support (compared with Umno) and it only has non-Malay support because of the non-Malay disenchantment with Umno, not because they are enamoured of PAS.

If it wants to be a real party for all Malaysians (in line with its “PAS for All” slogan) it needs to embrace the kind of progressive politics espoused by the likes of Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad and Khalid Samad. Not the kind of conservatism exemplified by Hasan Ali and Nasharuddin Mat Isa.”

Technically speaking, you are right that UMNO endorsed corruption, but legally speaking, it was the good people of Bagan Pinang who inked it, and overwhelmingly too. Gosh, what is happening to us. What are we actually teaching our kids? That it is okay to be corrupt and be accepted by one and all? I believe our school moral studies will need to be revised to fit the times. If corruption is a-ok, do we still need that bunkum MACC, and TI? For me they are now totally redundant, I might add. I am so lost for words that I couldn’t even blog about the issue today. Civil servants, both uniformed and non-uniformed will now be having a field day accepting bribes and they will tell you, “Aiyah, sekarang SEMUA OK what?” If racism and religious bigotry are not enought to get into you, now corruption will. May God bless this country.

Looking at the election results positively, I conclude that:
a) Isa is innocent because we, the citizens of Malaysia voted for him – deep within our inner soul, we know Isa is a good man.
b) Najib is right, Isa being suspended from UMNO was only due to a technical error Isa committed – our beloved Leader has spoken.
c)The Opposition parties had unsuccessfully tried to poison our minds against Barisan – remember, we are the very smart thinking race of 1Malaysia.
Remember fellow citizens of 1Malaysia, when Isa holds an open house to celebrate his landslide victory, there will be plenty more severed cow heads which we can all jointly take for a walk in a procession…

d) Isa has realised his past ‘technical errors’ and has come back to serve the citizens of Malaysia.
