double standard from police in action
the police were so hardworking to go right to the PKR leaders’ houses to issue them with summonses.
from the star:
The leaders were issued with summonses requesting them to be present at the Dang Wangi police station at 3pm to answer questions on the gathering held Monday night to celebrate the return of party adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to active politics.
they deemed the gathering as illegal so they had to summon the leaders for questioning.
ok fine. illegal gathering. the police know who were responsible so they summon them. fair enough… er… fair enough?? wait! hold your horses! not fair at all!! remember the protest UMNO held in penang on 14 march? umno leaders were involved! even the ex DPM, can you imagine that?? and the penang umno chief too involved. (you can see pictures of them in this post of mine). so did the police knocked on their doors to issue them with summonses? not at all! none of them were picked up for questioning too (during the protest – like what they used to do with the bersih and hindraf gathering).
so is this fair? NOT AT ALL! so is this double standard? MOST CERTAINLY YES!! AGAIN BLATANT DOUBLE STANDARD FROM OUR POLICE.
