fitna…

yeah i know this is old news. i had refrain from blogging on it lest people point the ‘islamaphobe’ finger at me. i do have lots to say but since this is old news, and also as i said i would be accuse as islamaphobe (boy! we non muslim just can’t talk on islam issue??) i’d better not say anything. however, i recommend you read haris ibrahim’s posts on this issue, especially the comments.

one comment that i wish to say is regarding the boycott. it is a knee-jerk, childish, illogical action to call on boycott of dutch products or everything dutch (we even see bloggers supporting the boycott.)… but worst than the boycott is the call to kill geert wilders the creator of the movie.

My friend tells me that Muslims are angry because the verses have been taken out of context! I then wondered if it was true that the film clips accompanying are “real” that is the terrorist acts were made up, the scenes of killings were done by actors?

If the scenes were “real” then how come the Muslims protesting today and threatening the Dutchman did not also threaten the Muslims who were quoting the verses from the quran when they were carrying out those terrible acts?

Only if the clips were “false” or were “doctored” by the film maker would it be “fitnah”!

I think Muslims do not want to face the truth.

Calling for the blood of one Dutchman named Wilders by the Muslims simply proves to the world that Islam is indeed a very violent and intolerant religion. Basically the Muslims are proving that they are exactly what has been taught in the Koran. As repeated many times already, you won’t find the Christians or the Buddhist crying for blood against those who directly go against and ridicule their religions. Here in Malaysia, we have idiots like the over-zealous ****-******* mamaks like Mydin calling for boycott of Dutch products (I’d say, boycott Mydin!).
