… on occasion of hari malaysia yesterday and also in solidarity with the ’saya anak bangsa malaysia’ launch in KL. 10 people turned up. one of them was lawyer (former editor of the echo paper and also some position in the star before) mr BC tan, who had lots of interesting stories to tell us during his ‘good old days’. we talked a lot about the kg. buah pala issue plus forthcoming tg tokong village issue… and also of course something about najib and ISA which can’t be made public here. heh. i also remind the people about the coming ’saya anak bangsa malaysia’ road-show by haris ibrahim and gang coming in november. gonna need their help in helping haris in the organising.

Sorry that the Skype link with KL did not materialize. I will try my best not to let that happen again should we meet again in future!

Hi Lucia,
Thanks for having organised yesterday’s gathering even though at the last minute. Ever since my return I have been trying to get in touch with the Penang Anak Bangsa Malaysia people… Finally I have.
I believe Haris and RPK and the whole ABM initiative is the way to bring about needed change :-
firstly by bringing awareness to the people and
secondly by challenging them to get involved
The majority of people are too lackadaisical and have a negative attitude towards life unfortunately but that’s what we are trying to change aren’t we? So here’s to CHANGE! Cheers!

some of his stories are not fit for print. heh. i don’t mean vulgar or ‘dirty’ but you know lah… the OSA/ISA looming behind us, can’t print what he said.
well one day if i’m free i’ll email you what he said (but that time, very short time, not too many stories from him)
