razak baginda is happy but we, the rakyat are sad
he… razak is acquitted by the court and is so happy but it is a sad day for us, the rakyat, for the malaysia in general. though we expect the outcome, of course we feel sad… ashamed… angry! this prove a lot of points - the kangaroo court, and as susan loone mentioned, that the SMS from najib was true.
a young lady had been brutally murdered and the court cannot find any evidence to convict someone. can’t… or won’t? or dare not? didn’t our PM said nobody is above the law? then why the lawyers dare not question the DPM? though the DPM swear he had nothing to do with altantuya’s murder but there had been lots of ‘proof’ surfaced that he did. why didn’t the lawyers touch on that?
razak baginda was the one who was clearly involved with altantuya but he was acquitted; instead the two inspectors were ordered to enter thier defence to the murder charge. oy, hello! we are not stupid. these two inspectors did what they did on someone’s instructions lah!
ok more later as i have to go for lunch now (i’m off from work already as taking 1/2 day off, that’s why i can blog lah). read about this news in malaysiakini here or please read malaysian insider for a good report, complete with brief clear background information as far back as 2 years in diagram form. (picture here also taken from malaysian insider)

racism and social contract (NEP) everywhere
1) the appointment of low siew moi to head PKNS (selangor development corporation) - some PKNS staff objected ON THE GROUNDS THAT SHE IS CHINESE.
isn’t PKNS suppose to be for all bangsa malaysia, so why did the selangor MB said PKNS is supposed to UPLIFT THE MALAYS by providing them with business opportunties but checks showed that 75% of the projects in the past were awarded directly or indirectly to non bumiputra firms.(hmm… sounds like another NEP!)

blog about photography
my photography skill is really bad. bad? then it means no skill lah. haha. yeah i’m not good at photo taking at all. the fact is very evident when i attended many of the anti-isa vigils and took lots of photos, many didn’t turned out right, and those that turned out right, not so good - compare to the photos of the others who also took photos of the anti-isa vigil (like anil netto and lilian of 5xmom)… but of course maybe they use better camera than me? i know lilian use DSLR camera. i only use the normal point and shoot digicam. well… true in a way the kind of camera contribute to the quality of the photo but of course the photographer also contributed a lot… much more i would say.
well recently i discovered there is a photographer blog known as ‘photography blogger’ what else. methink this would come in useful for me so i’m gonna bookmark it. i notice that in this blog, one can find all sort of information to do with photography - cameras are reviewed, tips on how to take good photos and so on. the latest post tips, i see, will come in useful for food bloggers, as it talk about food photography for presentation.
looking through the archives, i noted that photography blogger was started in august last year. the very first post, i see, talked about the advantange of the digital camera. browsing through, i notice there are indeed lots of useful information. there are info on how to edit photos too and even info on some famous photographer.
well mayb for some expert seasoned photographers, they don’t need these tips from photograpy blogger but for an amateur like me, i sure welcome the blog very much. thanks to whoever started the blog.

kee thuan chye captured their attention
wanted to attend the pictorial exhibition yesterday but by the time i reached town, i had a headache (yesterday afternoon was damn hot!) so i didn’t. instead spent the one hour at the church office until 2.15pm when i went for kee thuan chye’s book reading (part of the little penang street market activities) at the foyer of ‘the garage’ in penang road/farquhar street.
(note: ‘the garage’ of course is not a really a garage. well it was originally a garage but converted into a building with shops and restaurants. read about it here)

‘zero waste home’ film today
this is a long overdue post. i attended this recycling talk on 7 sept and was suppose to blog about it at least a week after but due to too many political matters and issues popping up, i blog about those instead. actually i had already prepared the write-up in the beginning of sept on my PDA - waiting for post to blog with pictures. i decided to blog about it today since today what i am going to blog about will be shown as a film today!
ok this is the write-up i had made much earlier…. (CnP from my PDA).
