the hot ’sodomy’ news
wow! it’s hot news all over malaysiakini! aide alleged sodomy: police report lodged. PKR fears anwar an assassination target, anwar takes refuge in turkish embassy, supporters told to remain calm, leaders rally behind anwar. PKR to file report against IGP, AG, alleged sodomy was in a damansara condo. PKR leader unfazed by fresh allegations. PM: govt not involved in sodomy allegation. supporters: politics behind sodomy claim. for the first time, i see that almost the whole front page of malaysiakini were filled with news of this sodomy report issue. then of course malaysiakini also came out with a video on the issue. oh if you are not a subsriber of malaysiakini, and can’t get to read those links i put up here, don’t worry, go to the malaysian insider, lots of news on same issue there too. or you should go to beritamalaysia - lots of news from lots of sources.

you know, the star paper hardcopy (yes i still do read the star) had on its front page big heading ’shock’ and mentioned anwar had to fight off sodomy allegations. i wonder if it is let’s say another bigshot VIP, like the DPM, will the star headline ‘DPM has to fight off sodomy allegations’?? of course not! it will only say ‘a VIP had to fight off sodomy allegations’. we had already seen it during RPK’s allegations, when the paper did not mentioned the DPM’s wife at all but just ‘the wife of a prominent minister’. well, that’s the MSM for you.
we are set to see some high drama coming our way, i suppose. the allegations, the denial, the charges, the police report, the sueing. phew! as we had PKR going to file a report against the IGP and AG, soon we’ll have them speaking up with this denial lah, then counter-allegation against anwar maybe. lots going to happen for sure.
while many of course agreed with anwar, that his aide’s allegations are nothing but fabrication…. maybe from the present gomen to discredit him, there are some small number of people (anwar hater?) who alleged (can i use that word?) that all this is a sandiwara from anwar himself, that he could have masterminded this himself! phew!
i don’t know. maybe it is a possibility? oops. anwar supporters (kittykat?) don’t come after me ah. anyway i believe more that it is a fabrication lah! but problem is do you think if it is a fabrication, can they be so stupid as to use the sodomy charge? i mean i for one won’t believe that at this time anwar will jeapardise his career (his soon to be PM maybe) by really sodomising someone! maybe 10 years ago, i would have believe it but not now.

yes i do agree that this sodomy allegation can be either true or just another rubbish but if we look at the situation logically, chances are that it is not true.
I mean anwar cannot be so stupid to jeopardize his political career now, right? Who in the right mind would do anything that can destroy his own career especially when his career has just begin to show promising result?
To me the allegation is politically motivated.
Hopefully, our police can investigate this case without fear or favour.

I pray that justice will prevail.
Somehow, I don’t have confidence that the police will investigate this case with integrity.
The last time they tried to implicate Anwar, the police CREATED much of the evidence.
When are they going to bring out the stained mattress ?

its pretty interesting when there are so many unknowns. Just shows politicians live in a dirty world and it does look like via AAB the pandora’s box is now glaringly opened beyond redemption at great costs to Malaysia, your country and mine which had so much promise but now reduced slowly o a heap ( of ashes ?)
Question is , what can ordinary ppl do except watch ?
any solutions for the man in the street ? do we have to witness first hand the implosion of our once top 3 position in asia and ultimate doom ?
I have noticed painfully many just pass clever comments and watch the show like a kind of thriller for as many political bloggers have openly happily declared that
” we live in interesting times” , then blog happily like the bandwagon but say, we need to do something right ? every vote counts as they say

yes. that was what i said too. i mentioned yes many people will think this is a fabrication, it is not true that anwar sodomised his aide but at the same time i also mentioned this could be a sandiwara by anwar himself (still not true that he sodomised his aide). dunno lah. let’s wait and see…

well now that the medical report showed that saiful had indeed involved in anal sex, if anwar is not the culprit. then we should all wonder at your question!

that’s the sad part - no confidence in the police. the police tend to be on the gomen side… esp. the top VVIPs.
