UPDATED 11/02/08, 5:07 PM: from lim kit siang’s blog - why should KSK submitted the names of his successor to the PM? isn’t it for gerakan the party itself, to decide who is the to be the new CM? die liao! this means it will be the son-in-law who will decide who’s going to be penang’s CM!! see, what i have been telling you – the CM is merely a puppet of UMNO. ![]()

.. but only after the PM said he will decide for him if he can’t make up his mind! what? is this man for real? need the push from the PM?
decide what, you might be wondering what i was talking about. well, if you are one of those who are ‘in the know’ of current political news, you will know at once what. his decision of whether to contest for a state seat or a parliamentary seat in the election.
he had been tossing around his decision, don’t know what to do… until the PM decide for him. yes, he decide after the PM decide. oh well… the PM did not really decide for him of course but you know what i mean lah. is it safe to say he can’t make up his own mind until somebody had to prod him on to make up his mind? what a man!
ok so now he’s going for parliament, thus he will no longer be penang’s CM! (yip yip hurray!). who is going to be his successor? well, in the bernama report it was mentioned he had submitted 3 names to the PM but he declined to name them. however, i heard on tv news that these were the 3 names who are tipped to succeed him.
chia kwang chye – secretary general of gerakan., who is deputy information minister.
teng hock nan - gerakan vice president, who is in charge of public administration and infrastructure
lee kah choon – gerakan deputy secretary general, who is in charge of NGOs and community liasion.
will these 3 be capable successors? do we know enough of them to trust them as our (penangites – i am a penangite!) CM? are there any other capable potential good leaders that can be a good CM you can think of? well… let’s wait and see.

suffice to say all those still sitting and eating in the comfortable lofty pedestals of the gomen scumbak bulwaks whether umno , mca or what nots under this pretensible islamic actually criminal regime called BN are nothing but stooges if they are still there under the cool shade.( as usual)
only those ping siong lang in the roadsides and backlanes like the hawkers and then some may reflect the true colors on the ground.
You mean after decades of the impotent helpless skinny Dr you Penangites still cannot decide the next better guy to head Pg ( then shame on all you penang lang , you really deserve your gomen )
I for one knows there are kway tau chey traitors within your own race in Gluttonland sad to say ( typical of this pragmatic $$$ loving type of people aka Batu Pahat florist scandal )

yes. because there are no better persons if all of them are from BN. well and i don’t mean someone from opposition will do good either. since i’m not that very political aware, i don’t know much about all those politicians… those would be sucessors, so of course i said i don’t know who will be good to lead penang. but of course there is always the saying ‘no try yet, don’t know’, meaning i am willing to give a chance to any of the would-be candidates to see if they can lead penang well.
i feel no shame. i do feel irritated at the phrase of “you get what you deserve” or “you get what you voted for”.
let me ask all those who criticise penangites – please by all means suggest a person who you think can lead penang and give the reason why you pick him, why you think he would be a capable CM.

Koh SK has grand aspiration for himself.
The people of Penang should be consulted as to the next CM by way of a referendum.
