when will you leave, o samy?
Post on Apr.13, 2007
i heard from my mum that yesterday, some chinese newspaper posed this query to our esteemed weak er… works minister, the one and only samy (where you see him grinning in the pic on the left) in the cabinet.
what brought on this was, the resignation of gerakan president, lim keng yaik.
much much earlier (long time actually), we had the resignation of the MCA president, ling liong sik, remember.
so… MCA president resigned long ago, gerakan president resigned just recently… now it should be MIC president’s turn, don’t you think so?
all of them had been presidents and in the cabinet (except lim is not in the cabinet) for more than 20 years, if i’m not mistaken. 20 years. 20 long years.
ayo-yo samy, it’s been 20 years you are in the cabinet and as MIC president, don’t you think it’s time to leave gracefully? i would rather think for the latter, maybe there is a chance to see him stepping down but for the former… don’t bet your 2 kupang on it!

Possible reasons:
- still a lot of cracking highways to hire overpriced consultants for?
- still a lot of RM5,998,083,934, 901 bazillion ringgits of expenditure to shoddily explain away? (yes, it now costs RM400 million for a 4km stretch. inflation! just accept that OK? No, I won’t show you the actual numbers, you all rakyat biasa won’t understand. Sorry, have to go to my RM100 million mansion now)

"I made a mistake, for which I am sorry." — Wolfowitz, addressing hissing and booing World Bank staff on Thursday
Paul Wolfowitz, chickenhawk-in-chief of the US’s Iraq war effort, left the Pentagon to take over the presidency of the World Bank. He took with him noble goals of stamping out corruption not only around the world but within the bank itself, and ending poverty in Africa. His most notable achievement, apart from unilaterally suspending aid to corrupt countries like India and Chad, has been to arrange the temporary transfer of his girlfriend, bank employee Shaha Riza, to the US State Department (to work under Elizabeth Cheney, the vice president’s daughter) and end her poverty by raising her salary from $132,660 to a tax-free $193,590. Hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis testify to other mistakes Wolfowitz has made.
Is uncle Samy any better than Paul the Wolf? Corruption does not only thrive in 3rd world Malaysia, but has caught onto the World Bank. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Global_Economy/ID14Dj01.html
lucia: yep, corruption is every where and i’m sure there are people (eg ministers) from other places far worst than samy too but here we are talking about samy only.

Finally he will be carried out of Putra Jaya in a coffin. (when he is 125 years of age).
This guy likes his power to much…….just ask around
lucia: yep… and money too.

most of our politicians esp those cabinet ones are self important and have no shame. ‘Get and no give’ is their life motto.

Same for this top hairy handsome Indian movie star wannabe.
lucia: righto! another motto – ‘receive and receive and you will receive’.

Pak Lah is going to send him with the Johor Sultan to claim back Pualau batu Puteh. But Samy – ever mindful of what befell that other Indian caddy many years ago in KL — has asked the Johor Sultan to leave his golf
club(s) behind. Once they claim back the island, the price of oil will magically fall to 30 sen per litre.
