and they tell us again they are retards
who they? the malays MP, the malays NGOs e.g. selangor malaysian malay chamber of commerce (DPMMS), umno information chief, ahmad maslan umno youth leader khairy AND the PM of malaysia!!
DAP’s tony pua suggested that the 7% bumiputera discount for residential and commercial properties worth over RM500K to be scrapped…. and suddenly all hell broke loose. they jumped sky high and accused tony of questioning malays special rights. ‘special’ = retard, remember?
“what??? you dare to question malay’s special rights?? seditious!! off to ISA!”
(ok they didn’t really said that of course but we know they meant it more or less)
there are 2 issues here:
1. they insist malays still lag behind (retards) so need the discount
2. they made noises that tony was questioning malay’s special rights
so called special rights. from malaysiakini:
DPMMS secretary Wan Haslinda Wan Yusoff was quoted by Malay daily Utusan Malaysia as saying the bumiputera discount was an economic policy set by state and federal governments to restructure the economic breakdown in real estate ownership.
“The suggestion is not only sensitive in terms of the state’s economic policy, but also touches on the sensitivities and interests of the bumiputera community as a whole,” she was quoted as saying.
see? no. 1 – restructuring the economic breakdown. no. 2 – touches on sensitivities of bumiputera.
from the nut graph:
Umno information chief Datuk Ahmad Maslan warning Pua. He said Pua’s proposal totally disregarded the sensitivity of Malay Malaysians and the bumiputera who comprised two thirds of the population.
Maslan argued that the current bumiputera ownership of shop houses and business premises in urban areas was only 14%, and doing away with the discount would worsen the situation. He declared that Pua’s suggestion was one among DAP’s long list of suggestions made to question Malay and bumiputera privileges.
see? no. 1 – current bumiputera ownership of shop houses and business premises in urban areas only 14%. no. 2 – questioning malay and bumiputera priveleges.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak clarifying that although Pua’s proposal fell under state jurisdiction, the federal government itself had no plans to review the bumiputera discount. He also warned DAP against placing pressure on Malay Malaysians and bumiputera as this could lead to anger and dissatisfaction
see? no. 1 – no plans to review the bumiputera discount. no. 2 – this could lead to anger and dissatisfaction.
Rembau MP and Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin arguing that although Pua’s suggestion made theoretical sense, when compared to the overall figures, Malay Malaysian and bumiputera ownership still lagged behind the other races. He added that abolishing the discount would widen the inter-racial economic gap.
Khairy said removing the discount would also deny bumiputera the opportunity to own property in strategic locations. He added that a moratorium could be imposed on the reselling of such property to prevent profiteering.
see? no. 1 – malay malaysian and bumiputera ownership still lagged behind the other races, removing the discount would deny bumiputera opportunity to own property in stategic location. no. 2 – abolishing the discount would widen the inter-racial economic gap.
any 10 years old child will tell you that if you can afford a RM500K property, you are damn rich and don’t need a discount. yet… all these people want to cling on to the discount (oh i forgot. they are retards so mind worst than a 10 years old child).
makes me so mad everytime when this came out as no. 1 they still insists on their rights and no. 2 they like to accuse people of being seditious, not sensitive. i guess now i can live with no. 1 (not to be mad anymore) since this shows they are retards.
