modem (cable) faulty

oh dear me! as i mentioned here, the card modem of my ex boss’s ancient laptop was faulty, right. well i bought the card modem to the computer shop this afternoon and left i there for them to check. later on, they called me and told me that they need to send the modem back to the distributor to check or to replace the modem since it is still under guarantee.

alamak!! sent it back to the distributor?? how long will this take then? 3 days? 10 days? dielah i!!! no internet to access during this whole week while i’m here at the bungalow. what to do eh?? what to do?? watch tv/astro? no good shows around. so sad. :cry
usually after 10.00pm i will start getting online if there’s no good shows around. if there are, i will get online after midnight… and stay till 2.00am. now without the internet, i’ll be restless with nothing to do during those hours!! arrgh!!
how come the modem cable is so lousy one. just bought it in july i.e. 5 months only. it was ok during the week of 21 nov. to 28 nov. when i was using it. then suddenly when i wanted to use it on 3 dec, can’t!! so fed up! :mad i really hope i can get back the modem ASAP!
