fun on international webloggers day

12 persons turned up for the blog meet yesterday. that was great compared to last year when only 1 turned up. who are the 12? ok, here’s the list:

when i reach the food court, i saw ong sitting at the entrance. 5 mins. later, n305er arrived, then followed by tan. another 5 mins. later jasdev arrived with his girlfriend holding tight to him. ong then said since there are 5 of us already we had better enter the food court and we choose a strategic place for others to easy spot us. as we sat and chit chat for 10 mins, jeremy joined us.

after some time, we were joined by cmos, the blur sotong. we had a good time chit chatting until… i think a little after 7.00pm or so, the trio of azhari, he]ix and raz arrived to join us. i can recognise azhari as i had met him before at a mypdacafe meet. i thought it was azhari who brought along he]ix and raz as i did post about this meet in mypdacafe forum but i was surprised to learn that it was he]ix who found out about this meet and pulled along azhari and raz to accompany him.

we had fun chit chatting on anything that came into our mind. and of course whenever bloggers meet, cameras never fail to click. several of us brought along our camera and we had fun taking pictures here and there. jasdev took 3 cameras to set to self-timer and place them on the edge of the table so as to take a shot of all of us! later on, jasdev load pictures from 3 cameras (jeremy, cmos and me) onto piki-piki (his notebook lah! he has a name for his notebook!) and proceeded to show us a slide show starring us all there and then.

the most colourful character present must be jeremy with his long afro style hair, giving out his colourful name card which mentioned a writing contest that can win you RM200. anyone who like writing and want to win some cash, should check out jeremy’s website at my-malaysia.info. jeremy is a founder of ejrs.com and he provides lots of services like web-hosting and web-designing.

julius and tan left early, followed by cmos. then later jasdev and serena left and the remaining 7 of us continue with our talk… until i receive a phonecall from frangipanix, a KL blogger (about 8.45pm) that she’s in penang right now and would like to meet me now. she said to meet at starbucks so i asked the others if they want to join me in starbucks but they declined… as ong said maybe they were afraid of parting with their ‘bucks’. haha.

well, jeremy did accompany me to wait for frangipanix in front of starbucks. when frangipanix arrived, i was the one who was scared of parting with my ‘bucks’ so instead of starbucks, i suggested A&W instead. jeremy only joined us for 10 mins and leave us 2 alone for some girls’ talk.
