aliran is shocked at the RCI…
… but i’m not!
aliran is shocked and devastated at the royal commission of inquiry’s (RCI) decision not to call anwar as a witness.
i was not shocked because this was as expected lah! it was anwar, and not only him but including others like lim kit siang and the malaysian bar, who insisted that the RCI’s head, haidar, should not be in the commission but now that he is in, do you think he will want anwar as a witness? after all, he was a ‘dr m’s man’ remember. speaking of which, methinks most people think when dr m testified, the RCI did not grilled him enough as they were scared of him.

Justice and Fair play for the family of Gan Eng Gor (deceased)
1. Our father was seventy four (74) years old. He suffered a severe stroke in 2006. He was as immobilized, bedridden, mentally unsound, cannot speak, partially deaf and has very poor vision.
2. We transferred him to stay with one of our brothers in Klang. Our aged mother looked after, bathed andfed him. She also helped to look after our nephews and nieces.

they love a dead convert
… but not when he/she is alive.
yes, that’s got to be it. if not, what else? why when the person after converting, they couldn’t care less about him but after he was dead, immediately they will come to claim the body and say that he is a muslim. waahh… only when the person is dead, they come to acknowledge he is muslim? what happen after he was converted? no visit to him to see if he was leaving the muslim life? no guidance to him on his newly found faith as a muslim?

lingam: “i was bullshitting…”
yeah right…. and you are now bullshitting us too, mr lingam.
the latest circus act lingam put on "i was bullshitting and bragging" according to malaysiakini (and beritamalaysia).
this came after his infamous "it looks like me, it sounds like me".
i thought he had said "it looks like me, it sounds like me but i wouldn’t say it was me"……. but now he was saying "i didn’t say it wasn’t me".

‘allah’ ban more political than religious
this is the heading Malaysiakini put in to the letter that i sent in to them. you can read them from malaysiakini or here:
—————-
I would like to quote from the letter Allah term unique, exclusive.
‘Sure, ‘Allah’ is also used by the Christian Arabs and not only them. Even pre-Islamic Arabs also used the term. But among themselves, the Arabs know which ‘Allah’ you are talking about which is not the case among the Malays.’

bring back the good (real!) news
i do not support the boycott of the mainstream media but i support what my friends supported, so i am doing a favour for them by posting this here. the boycott was initiated by helen ang, malaysiakini columnist and haris ibrahim, both of whom i had met before. this piece was emailto me by lulu, also a sweet lady i had met before. it is exactly the same as what lulu had posted up in her blog, she’s initiating a so called ‘compendium’ to the ‘boycott the newspaper’ call referring to it as ‘ops bawa berita baik balik kampung’. (hence my heading up there). well, since they are all my friends, sure i don’t mind posting about this here.
