altantuya’s trial: at last najib’s name surfaced
UPDATED: sunday, 1/07/07, 2:16 AM
najib told press to blackout news (expected lah!)
najib will not issue statement on altantuya murder case - aide (keeping his elegant silence? all the more making the prosecution dare not call him as a witness, i guess. *sigh*)
ORIGINAL POST
aha! i was waiting and wondering when would HIS name appeared… will it ever appeared… and there it was - yesterday’s trial, HIS name was mentioned at last.
malaysiakini’s headline said it all - najib seen with altantuya.

retreat at richmond bungalow
the retreat i mentioned was a relaxing one. it was something rather unexpected though but good in its own way. there were 11 of us staff, plus the facilitator.
penang hill had change a lot since i was last there. er… but i was there the last time long long ago so of course it had change. think it was near 10 years i have not been to penang hill.
first thing that greeted me that was so obvious is of course the entrance, as picture here:
this is the bungalow, ‘richmond’ we stayed in:

how i spent the weekend
as i mentioned here that there were lots of events during the weekend and i was kind of torn on where to go. well, i went to all except one! the one i didn’t went to was the food and beverages exhibition.
ok 23 june, sat., yes i did went to the penang bloggers gathering but i left early since i had to attend the church’s seminar. anyway, i found out i did not know anyone there, except lilian of 5xmom, so no point hanging around. oh, there was kew there too, whom i had met before in the earlier bloggers gathering which i organised. there were about 100 people present (the ones who signed up, less might turned up), and all of them were youngsters - teenagers and in 20s, so i did kind of felt strange, so add to the no. 3 reason i left early.

i had blog on this before here and mentioned about it recently too. i will definitely be there. i want to attend the forum so need to be there early. if not, i prefer to sleep late to attend the exhibition and movies only. i sure want to grace the exhibition as my colleagues from penang office for human development (POHD) will be having a corner for exhibit, focusing on ministry of migrant workers.

“Singapore is not a real country, it is a small island. Singapore’s population is just three to four million and there are no opportunities for corruption, unlike in our country.

altantuya’s trial in pictures

on the first day of the trial…
look… what we have here… t-shirts galore!

yes, the razak baginda’s family showed up bearing t-shirts in support of him. on the front was printed the words to tell everyone how they are related to baginda and on the back the words ‘proud of it!’.
that’s interesting. so they are very proud to announce to everyone they are related to baginda.
OTOH, look at the pictures of altantuya’s cousins….

…they are always hiding behind dark shades and big hats. what a contrast!
