criminalise wars?

yes, criminalise wars, so said our dear ex PM. hmm… so war should be consider as a crime. i see. then the leaders who started/going to start the wars/s will be consider as criminals – then why such a huge conference concentrate only on bush (USA), blair (UK) and to a certain extend howard (australia)? spot the similiarity? yep, western bashing time! particularly bush/US bashing gala time!

of course nobody would want to see a war happened but sometimes, a war is just inevitable. a war might need to be fought to achieve peace. this may sound like an oxymoron but if you think about it, it’s true, isn’t it?

the more i read about dr m’s speech at the conference, the more i felt like throwing up. all excerpts here taken from screenshot.

It was an impactful presentation as he had cleverly interspersed the speech with two well-crafted video clips, one on the horrors of depleted uranium (DU), and the other on what was inside the infamous Abu Ghraib prison and human torture.

ugh! showing the torture in abu ghraib. there’s no denying that such cruel, evil, dehumanising tortured occured there of course but then again remember the late saddam and his sons too had so cruelly tortured his own people!

Not mincing his words, Mahathir had cited George Bush, Tony Blair, and John Howard as targets for trial by the Tribunal for their roles in waging atrocities in modern Iraq.

ugh! yeah yeah we know how he hate bush and blair. so he can only cite these two? what about others?

"Bush and Blair are now totally reviled and condemned by the world and by their own people," he said. "To a certain extent, they have been tried and sentenced by their own people and media."

ugh! how does he know that for sure?

History should remember Blair and Bush as the Killer of Children or as the Lying Prime Minister and President. What Blair and Bush had done is worse that what Saddam had done. We should not hang Blair if the Tribunal finds him guilty but he should always carry the label War Criminal, Killer of Children, Liar.

And so should Bush and the pocket Bush of the bushlands of Australia.

ugh! ‘killer of children’. come on, in all wars, there are casualties – people died including children. so then all leaders of the countries who had started wars are killer of children?

what they had done were worst than what saddam had done? hey, saddam also started wars – he was also a killer of children and a liar.

now don’t come after me saying i’m on B&B’s side, ok. i’m not on anyone’s side. i just like to highlight  the double standard of dr m and his hatred for B&B.

ok so you had read so much local view on the conference/dr m’s speech, particularly on screenshot, now go and read some foreign view here at littlegreenfootballs and jihad watch.
