UMNO general assembly – platform for bashing of non malays/muslim…
… for raising racial issues
… for threats and warning
…. yelping of ‘malay rights’ (ketuanan melayu) here and there.
best of all, it shows the inferiority complex in them.
—
the PM started it…
PM warns groups not to test gomen’s patience.
keris waving guy comes in:
“This is a warning from the youth movement. Do not raise any issues in relation to Article 11 and Article 121 (1A) of the Constitution. If negative efforts like this are not stopped, the implications are going to be big,” he said, drawing robust cheers and applause.
Umno Youth, he added, wanted the Government to continue to reject the setting up of the Inter-Faith Commission.
why so afraid of article 11? for article 11 all we asked is for freedom of religion as in the constitution.
why so afraid of IFC? oh yeah, because to them their religion is superior, cannot join with others.
a melaka delegate who is ever ready to bathe the keris in blood… blood of non malays… for defending malay rights:
The non-Malays have been challenging the Malays more seriously now despite the existence of the social contract and provisions in the federal constitution ensuring the position of Islam, the Orang Asli and the syariah courts.
Until today, Umno is still passive, soft, tolerant and defensive. I believe they (non-Malays) will not keep quiet and will continue to challenge the Malays. If the setting up of an interfaith council (IFC) is successful, those non-Muslims who are the enemies of Islam will side with them (those who challenge the Malays). Why should Malays and Umno be passive and defensive? It’s time to raise our voices and defend the Malays and Islam. Umno is willing to risk lives and bathe in blood in defence of race and religion. Don’t play with fire. If they mess with our rights, we will mess with theirs. Umno faces challenges from DAP who are Chinese chauvinists, the ignorant PAS and threats from overseas. Friends in Barisan Nasional, too, have questioned us. That’s why the Malays must unite under Pak Lah’s leadership to defend race and religion.
aha! see, regarding IFC, he mentioned non muslim as ‘enemies of islam’.
“if they mess with our rights, we will mess with theirs” – so childish!
“friends in barisan nasional” – i’m surprise you still refer to them as friends! fellows MCA, gerakan, MIC, – with friends like UMNO, who need enemies eh?
why feel so inferior? why so scared of challenges?
and oh one of them directly hit out at their ‘friends’ – the MIC president, samy velu, gerakan deputy vice president, koh tsu koon and MCA vice president, ong tee keat by labelling them ‘kurang ajar’. nice.
a marang delegate:
“Presently, the ‘Malay economy’ is growing at two percent, while the ‘non-Malay economy’ is growing at six percent. If nothing is done, the disparity will increase and this will lead to chaos.”
“There will be another May 13, 1969. There will be war and Kuala Lumpur will be an urban battlefield. Therefore, don’t challenge the special rights of Malays. We don’t want another fiasco in 2008.”
whoaa!! serious stuff, man!! invoking the ghost of may 13! like the recent councillor zakaria hoo-haa, his goons too mentioned “you want may 13? i give you may 13!“. if the disparity will lead to chaos, who will be the one who will start it? none other than you yourself UMNOputera!! (what else is new… many say the same for 5 13 69). why is it all these people who invoke may 13, our ministers/authorities didn’t do anything about it? what if it was a MCA or MIC MPs or non malays who did it?
and this one also mentioned they will defend their race until the last drop of blood:
“We will not budge an inch in defending our rights,” Mohamad Zan Abu, an UMNO official from the southern state of Johor, said in a speech Tuesday. We will defend these rights to the last drop of our blood.”
yeah reminds me of the son-in-law who said that he don’t have to apologise for defending his race and religion. so for defending his race and religion, he can get away with anything? for this delegate, zan abu, for as long as they are defending their malay rights, they will do anything?
speaking of the son-in-law, he wants the bumi equity to be 70% if we were to accept ASLI’s figure:
Khairy slammed the Asli (Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute) report that claimed Malay corporate equity had reached 45%.
“They are manipulating figures. If we want to use the Asli figures, let’s set a new target. Let’s make it 70% for the Malay equity,†he added.
while puteri UMNO directly ask for 60%. go ahead. take 60%, 70%. take 90% or even 100%. who cares anymore on this equity shit. the more you demanded, the better for us as it shows your inferiority complex. ok, let the NEP continue as khairy boy demanded… they want to be spoon fed forever and ever, so be it.
(note: i will update later on with links that touch on racial tones and defending malay rights)
