satires
been pretty busy today so can’t come up with my own post, instead i’m going to introduce you to someone who writes pretty good satires – viewtru of stepping aside for reality blog! his latest one on the semi value guy, with a touch of shakespearean language is very good indeed. he mentioned that he got the idea to write that piece from a post i made about the ‘hantu’ not liking old samy! i trust many of you might have already read about it, but if you haven’t yet, do click on the link below to enjoy his excellent piece:
shakespearean play, act II, scene I
then, there is also a good piece by malaysian lampoon: jalanriong blog on ‘my favourite things’. his/her own version of the song ‘my favourite things’ from the sound of music.
also on the subject of ‘my favourite things’, like jalanriong, inspired by the star, who started a ‘my favourite things’ contest (the ‘my’ here refers to our PM, pak lah), well known tv smith had came up with his own ‘my favourite things’ contest.
but please remember to read viewtru’s shakespearean’s play ok. (btw, his act I, scene I, is here). this guy is very talented indeed and had written a number of very good satires (click on his previous articles to browse through), e.g. the one on sex in kancil.
