bush the cause of tragedies across the muslim world

the tun, our ex PM, dr. m opened his mouth again (this time i’m afraid most muslims might agree with him!). yes, the above (heading) was what he wrote in a letter addressed to the muslims in US.

according to dr m, if the muslims vote bush out, it will be an ‘ibadah’ (worship) that they perform.

“Bush has shown that despite his protests, he is the cause of the tragedies in Afghanistan, Palestine and Iraq. People, including children, women, sick and disabled people, have been and are being killed in these countries who otherwise would be alive today. Under the pretext of attacking terrorists, whole towns and villages with their populations are being destroyed by rockets and bombs.”

hmm… seems that dr m had so much hatred for bush eh? and he has strong support for kerry? but kerry is not impressed with him at all, as according to the article:
In March, Mahathir said he believed Kerry might be a better president because he would keep the world safer and listen to other opinions. However, Kerry’s aides insisted the Democratic candidate “rejects any associationwith Mahathir, whom they called ‘an avowed anti-Semite whose views are totally deplorable.’

ha! an avowed anti-semite whose views are totally deplorable! deplorable! yep… like what he said recently that if you want to commit murder, come to malaysia… how deplorable!

btw, from the ‘if the world could vote’ website, it seems that almost all countries favour kerry. but of couse we all know online voting is actually nonsense. 🙂

however, if children could vote, it would seems that bush would emerge the winner. channel one, the company that provides a daily newscast for public schools across the nation held a mock election for teenagers, and the result was that bush received 55% of the popular vote. read about it here.
