had a fall riding chaly

yesterday i don’t know what happened but while i was riding chaly home from work, suddenly i feel chaly shaking and i wanted to put down my feet to balance myself but i was near to a car, and chaly keep shaking and shaking until it move near the car and bang the car (side) and… whoosh!! i fell together with chaly. i was on the ground for a few second and felt dazed before i got up. 2 men on motorbike who saw me fell, came to my ‘rescue’. one of them picked up my things (bag and raincoat) that fell off chaly and another pick up chaly for me. as i was shocked and dazed, i did not thank them at all. i quickly push my bike to the side. as i was at the side checking out chaly, an elderly malay lady came by and asked me “are you the one who crashed into me?” oh no! i was afraid she was going to scold me but i was surprise she was so nice. instead she asked me if i was all right, was i hurt in any way. i did mumble sorry it was my fault, don’t know why chaly suddenly shake and made me lose balance. she said as long as i was not hurt ok

well at that time, i didn’t notice any injury but when i reached my destination, i notice my right elbow was bleeding. luckily it was just a scratch (because of the impact of the fall on the rough surface). anyway as it was exactly at the elbow, it did cause some pain now and then since there is where i need to bend my hand. then today, i notice my right side body was aching. i guess it was due to the fall.

i don’t know what happened to chaly. why suddenly it wobble… was chaly wobbling or was it i who had a headache that time, felt dizzy and i was the one who wobbled? my family said maybe something’s wrong with chaly but can’t be as just 10 days ago, i had chaly serviced. then a friend suggest that maybe the tyre is flat (or is it too full??) as a flat tyre can made a bike wobble. well tomorrow i will have to check the tyres then. it had been a long time i did not have any mishaps with chaly and yesterday was the first after a long time, and it sort of made me a little more careful and frightened me not to go too fast. but i guess, as people always say, we have short memories, so after some time, i’ll be back to going fast and devil may care attitude! 🙂
