HOMELESS
Look at them out on the street
everyone they meet, they will greet
with an extended hand and a timid smile
would you stop or run a mile?
would you feel disgust or pity?
they are everywhere in the city
so sad, so pitiful, so lifeless
who are they but the poor and the homeless
