our ex PM to lead iraq?

i’m sure you have read and know about the transfer of sovereignty to iraq, right? but have you heard that in an arab press, dr mahathir, our esteemed ex PM, oh sorry, tun dr mahathir, was proposed to lead iraq?

“If the goal is to create a stable, prosperous and democratic Iraq, who can better to do it than Malaysia’s former Prime Minister (Dr) Mahathir Mohamad, who led the most stable, prosperous and democratic Muslim country in the world today for 22 years?” wrote Todd Crowell in a commentary which was syndicated by Knight Ridder Tribune and published in the Bahrain Tribune,Wednesday.

omigosh! i guess todd crowell haven’t lived in malaysia for all that 22 years.
