update on penang bloggers meet

ok so tomorrow is d-day – the international webloggers’ day, in which i had initiated a get-together for penang bloggers (readers are welcome too) as i blog here. so far, the response has not been too good but i’m not really disappointed as i realised i gave a short notice (7 days).

so far, i have 4 confirmed they’ll be coming and 3 not sure. and some say, see first, if free, they’ll drop in. ok whatever, now the place and time as i blog earlier is confirmed. yesterday evening i went to the food court to survey the place. there were not many people there (1/4 full) and the place was big and spacious and with not many people, lots of empty place, so just nice for a meeting.

ok now how to go there? actually you can’t miss it, as there are signs everywhere, showing you how to go there. anyway, the best way to go is, as i do, use the lift at the main atrium (the block where the cineplex is) where the stage is. as you get out of the lift, turn right and walk straight to the end, then turn left and wak straight ahead and you will see the food court.

there are plenty of food there – indian, chinese, malay, thai, so don’t worry, you won’t go hungry. 🙂

ok now where exactly to meet? i spy a quiet corner which would be just nice for the meet, yesterday while i was having my dinner there. now as you enter the food court you will come across the food coupon counter on your right (that is the first food coupon counter). walk straight ahead until you come to the second food coupon counter (just after the drink stall). from there, turn right and go until the end where there are 3 empty food stalls. we’ll meet at that corner. oh, watch out for me. well, i have my picture here on my blog, so i’m sure you will recognise me. though that picture was taken 3 years ago, i haven’t change much except hair-style of course (it’s shorter now!)… oh and i don’t look as pretty as that picture too (ahem!) since that picture was taken after a makeover but you will be seeing me in my normal ordinary ‘unpretty’ look. 🙂 oh yeah, i will be wearing a black jeans with pink sleeveless t-shirt, holding a copy of the star paper. so just watch out for a short, ‘unpretty’, ‘unslim’ girl in black and pink, and you’ll find me. 😉
