what was wrong?

wanted to blog last night but something was wrong. i try dialing in but each time i got the message “the line is busy”. though i had try more than 10 times…. no made it 20 times, still same answer of “the line is busy”. i’m very sure the line can’t be busy for so long! yes i try both jaring and tm.net… still same answer. i thought could it be the phone line? well no way as i can hear the dialing tone from the phone and can make calls. could it be the modem? don’t think so because the modem is all powered up and it can dial in… only with the response “the line is busy”.

so what was wrong? could it be due to something to do with the heavy thunderstorm and lightning that zapped our tv transmission? yep, last night there was a heavy thunderstorm and suddenly we cannot receive any transmission at all from any of the tv channels. i try all channels, nothing except tv2, there was something but very blur. understand all my neighbours in the flat too experiences same problem. so could the thunderstorm somehow or other zapped the internet line? but then how come i can still use the phone that use the internet line? don’t quite understand.

i was very restless when i cannot get online last night (from 7.00pm). i hope by tonight when i got home, it would be okay. if no, then i can’t make any post again. right now i’m stealing my office lunch time to post. ok gotta go for my lunch of maggi mee now!
