weeping for blogosphere

today i’m going to do a cut&paste (CnP) job ala the famous mr CnP, kahsoon. (oh dear me, are other bloggers going to jump on me for doing a CnP, like they do on kahsoon? more about this later. see asterik *). nothing to blog mah… so have to do a CnP lah. ah i knew you understand. ok me first CnP from cmos, the blur sotong.

from cmos:

Bloody hell.

The blogosphere is turning into one ugly place to be in. Everywhere you go, PPS or whatever other blog portals, you see hate, flame, politic-ing and all sorts of other waramashite nonsense. Bloggers ganging up to gank another faction. You then see retaliation. The vicious circle continues. Bloggers starting wars to rake up website traffic. Who would have thought even petty stuff like whether one particular blogger went under the surgeon’s knife can end up as a popular flaming topic. So-called celebrity bloggers dictating the do-s and don’t-s of blogging. So-called full time bloggers who threaten to sue every single ass who dares to parody them.

This is shallow. This is stupid. This is obnoxious monkey crap.

Lighten up you bunch of morons.

The blogosphere was once a much simpler place to be in.

Fuck all you lame-asses who take all the fun out of blogging.

and my comments:

and an internet bully on the blogosphere too. (see politics101 blog).

i couldn’t have said it better, cmos. very true indeed, very true. blogosphere is getting ugly.

i am also so fucking angry at all that’s been going on. i also don’t like people who like to blog on other bloggers (whether positive or negative). and we have bloggers clique too. you know it when we hear things like “if you don’t go, i won’t go”.

this is kind of depressing and kind of turn me off blogging.

i repeat after you “fuck you all lame-asses who take the fun out of blogging.”
(end of comments at cmos).

then CnP from n305er (but only the heading and the end part):

go f**k yourself, kahsoon.

HottestBlogger surely doesn’t meet any of the above criteria. And even if KahSoon decides to ignore that fact, let’s sue him for violating other people’s privacy.

well i had wanted to comment there but i find my comment too long, so decided to do it here. (learned that from t-boy).

n305er, what has kahsoon done to YOU (personally) to make you swear at him thus?

ok quote from you:
“HottestBlogger surely doesn’t meet any of the above criteria. And even if KahSoon decides to ignore that fact, let’s sue him for violating other people’s privacy.”

but he did not violate YOUR privacy! were any of the persons whose privacy had been violated you personally knows?

i really can’t understand why all the hoo-haa over kahsoon (looking at the many comments n305er received). what if he infringe copyrights, what if he plagiarise, what if he ALWAYS do a CnP job, what if though doing all these wrong things he earns a lot from adsense (or other ads). it’s his life, for goodness sake, so what he wants to do, up to him lah.

and this hottest blogger issue, what if he uses people’s photo without permission, it’s his funeral and of course the business of those whose photos were up. unless MY photo was used (which won’t ever – i’m not hot, i’m cold) then i have the right to tell him to fuck off or make lots of noises here and there.

same thing like the xiaxue toilet issue i see. why hop in the bandwagon to curse xiaxue because all the other bloggers are doing it… when you (i don’t mean you only, n305er, but you as in general all those involved) are not directly involved or you don’t even read her blog regularly but listen to ‘rumours’ of other bloggers. your perception of xiaxue then is based on what others said of her, not on your own judgement.

and this thing about kahsoon, as i said if he does something wrong or illegal and managed to get high traffic, managed to get lots of revenue earning from ads, so what. it’s his life. but you people have to tease him and jump up and down making noises about him.

please, it’s not that i am siding kahsoon (or xiaxue). hell, i too don’t like what kahsoon does and i think what he does IS wrong… but i’m not going to sound like a dis-satisfied broken recorder that forever goes hitting out at him. he blogs as he like, i blog as i like. as long as he doesn’t disturb me, what the hell i care.

yes, let other bloggers blog as they like, after all it’s their own opinion, their own grave they are digging. why should we deem it to advise them, admonish them or tell everyone they have step over the line… all in our own blog? ok some of you might say why not, they have a right to do that as they are doing it in their own blogs. sure. 100% agree… and i’m just voicing my opinion now too.

another thing i don’t like is as i commented in cmos’s blog, is that i hate bloggers blogging on bloggers. sorry but i’m doing it now… well, have to lah but never mind, it will be 1st and last time. whether what they blog on other bloggers are negative (like flame) or positive (like worshipping), i don’t like! whether they blog on bloggers but did not mention the bloggers names, i also don’t like! (subtly actually as without the names, some people might know who… or they will privately email to others the names).

i used to say a number of times “i weep for my country” but i guess now it’s time to say “i weep for blogosphere”. you see, this is one of the reason i am beginning to lose some interest in blogging. perhaps i should stick to all politics blogging… and DON’T read those personal blogs (i mean esp. those who blog on bloggers).

cmos hit the nail on the head when he said blogosphere had turned ugly. *weep*
