my untidy and full wardrobe
one day while i was rummaging through my wardrobe for what clothes to wear to office the next day, my mother happened to walk in and she exclaimed, “tsk, tsk. look at your wardrobe. so many clothes, and so messy. it will burst one day, i tell you.”
this was not the first time she remarked “tsk tsk, so many clothes”. each time she grumbled on that, i will shot back a reply “where got? no lah. i have nothing to wear tomorrow.”
well during that one day when she made that remark again of the many clothes i have, i began to wonder, could it be true? so i started to count the t-shirts i have, the ones in the front section… one stack of them about 20, then another, also 20, and another, about 20 and so many other stacks deep inside… and i suddenly realise, good lord! i have near 100 t-shirts!

wow! i’m shocked! why do i need so many t-shirts? beats me. it looks like i like to hoard t-shirts! i have t-shirts as old as 5 years still with me in the wardrobe. whenver i buy new t-shirts, i don’t throw away my old t-shirts, so i guess my t-shirts keep multiplying and multiplying until it is mountain high! oh, and i wear t-shirts (with jeans/pants) to office, so i do need them.
having so many t-shirts and such small space in my wardrobe, and me being disorganised and untidy, i simply push all my t-shirts in any way i want, thus crumpling most of them. it’s such a mess. that’s why you see, i dare not take a photo of my wardrobe to show you, not unlike the time when i take a photo of the contents of my handbag to show everyone. beside, i remember what percolator commented about tempting you all to be voyeurs if i show you my wardrobe.
and you know, beside the hundreds of t-shirts i have tucked in untidily at the bottom shelf of my wardrobe, i have several blouses and pants hung up at the top shelf (including my jeans lie face down). since i wear jeans/pants with t-shirts and blouse to office, i always complain of not enough pants to wear but when that day i counted my t-shirt (approx. count), i also counted my pants and realised i have over 20 pants/jeans! over 20! and here i am complaining i don’t have enough! i guess that’s so typical of a girl – with so many clothes staring at her, yet she complains of nothing to wear. hehe.
wait maybe one day i just might show you my wardorbe… open of course so that you will be able to see the ‘rubbish’ (as my mum refers to it) in it! lol.
