away for the weekend

our church based charitable organisation, society of st vincent de paul (SSVP) will be having a formation* session today and tomorrow (21 and 22 may), followed by AGM. it will be held at ‘domus st anne’, the new meeting place cum accomodation in st anne’s church in bukit mertajam.

phew! lots of work to do prior to the formation* since i’m the secretary. and of course during the formation itself*, also lots of work. oh this will be the first time i’m going to be a speaker (one of the speakers) at the formation*. hope i won’t stand up there and tremble and nothing comes out of my mouth (or stuttering comes out!).

we will check in at 4.00pm today and check out at 3.00pm tomorrow. by the time i return home, it will probably be near 6.00pm. i can’t leave fast (exactly 3.00pm) since i’m one of the organiser so have to stay back to settled things.

then on that day, sunday (22 may) i will have to sleep early because have to wake up at 5.00am on monday (23 may) – for another outing – a trip to the sungai klah hot springs park in perak, and crystal cave, also in perak. it will be a one day trip. oh, it is organised by our church’s women’s group. i’ll be going with my mother and sister and 40 other church friends. i’m sure i’m going to enjoy the trip. will take lots of photos.

so there will be no blog from me for 2 days (saturday and sunday), and if i return home late on monday, no blog too. oh btw, i anticipated i will be returning home late, and thus will be tired (and lazy!) to work the next day so i’m taking leave off on tuesday (24). at least can sleep late. lol.

*formation – many would not know what is meant by ‘formation’ here. actually simple term for it is just ‘seminar’ (short seminar). ‘formation’ is the term we use in our catholic church. we usually use ‘formation’ because the sessions are so designed to ‘form’ us into what we should be. e.g. if the formation is about community living, we say it will ‘form us to be better persons with the spirit of community living’.
