what the hell??? it’s really a political cirus in perak!
yesterday the high court ruled that nizar is the legitimate MB and this morning we saw him moved into his office (state assembly) and asking zamby to vacate the office.
then all of a sudden, in the afternoon, we heard it was zambry’s turn to ask nizar to vacate the offiice!
WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING??
child play kah?? one person in, one person out then later that one person out, and the other person in!!
nizar suspended the state secretary and the state legal advisor in the morning, then in the afternoon zambry revoked the suspension! (read the full article below).
WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?
child play kah? suspend, revoke, suspend, revoke!
for god’s sake, raja nazrin, call for a dissolution of the assembly!! it’s so embarassing to see the political circus going on and on and on. WE WANT A FRESH ELECTION! DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY!
The Court of Appeal HAD granted zambry his application for a stay of execution on the KL high court ruling yesterday that declared nizar the righful MB of perak. because of this, it was to be back to status quo – and i can’t understand why the status quo was zambry as the MB. all along he is NOT the legal MB as everyone knows that the MB cannot be removed by the sultan. hence nizar is the legit MB all along.
i know lah. this zambry ah always keep harping that he is the legit MB because he had been appointed by the sultan. stupid! as if he doesn’t know yes, the sultan can appoint a MB but the sultan cannot sacked a MB, thus nizar is still the legit MB all along!
the perak fiasco will go on and on and this will tarnish our reputation more and more. a fresh election must be held! that’s the only option.
RAJA NAZRIN (OR THE SULTAN OF PERAK) PLEASE, PLEASE DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY!!
DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY!! WE WANT FRESH ELECTION!

MBs’ battle it out to stamp authority
Andrew Ong | May 12, 09 8:28am
Just hours after gaining a stay order to remain as the Perak menteri besar today, Zambry Abd Kadir revoked his rival Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin’s decision to suspend the state secretary and state legal advisor.
Zambry also immediately revoked all policy changes implemented by Nizar in the last 24 hours, adding that all Barisan Nasional policies will remain.
Yesterday Nizar, fresh from gaining a court order which proclaimed him as the legitimate menteri besar, suspended state secretary Abdul Rahman Hashim and state legal advisor Ahmad Kamal Shahid with immediate effect.
The two officials, who have been key allies of BN in the ongoing Perak political crisis, were suspended during an emergency Pakatan state executive council (exco) meeting last night.
Zambry however today regained the control of the state after gaining a stay order against the court decision which was in Nizar’s favour yesterday. His appeal on the matter will be heard in a date to be fixed.
Meanwhile, both Abdul Rahman and Ahmad Kamal also found support from the Chief Secretary to the government Mohd Sidek Hassan.
Mohd Sidek said that the suspension was invalid and both of them were eligible to conduct their duties as usual.
He said Nizar as the menteri besar did not have the legal authority to suspend either of the officers as the power to suspend a public officer was vested with the relevant disciplinary authority.
"As for the legal advisor, the authority is vested with the Judicial and Legal Service Commission while in the case of the state secretary it is vested with the Public Service Commission," he was reported as saying by Bernama.
Not a form of revenge
In an late night press conference yesterday, Nizar said that the suspensions were not a form of revenge.
"There were several things that they have done (over the past three months) which made us decide that they cannot be with us," Nizar told a packed press conference at 12.30am today at his rented home in Sungai Rokam, near Ipoh, following the exco meeting.
"To give us peace of mind and for us not to suspect them, we have suspended them temporarily. This is not a form of revenge. We did this to fulfill the aspirations of the rakyat," he added.
Abdul Rahman earned infamy when he shouted at reporters covering Nizar’s visit to his office shortly after being ousted, and also for closing down the state secretariat building to prevent the March 3 emergency state legislative assembly sitting.
He had also reportedly tried to stop Nizar from escorting Perak Regent Raja Nazrin Shah to a lift after the regent had delivered the royal address at the May 7 state assembly sitting.
Ahmad Kamal had testified against Nizar during the ‘MB vs MB’ trial. In his ruling yesterday, Justice Abdul Aziz Abd Rahim had said he could not accept Ahmad Kamal’s testimony because he "seemed to be a partisan witness".
Audience with sultan
State financial officer Jamaluddin Al Amini Ahmad will assume the role of acting state secretary while the Ahmad Kamal’s deputy has been made acting legal adviser.
While the suspensions are temporary, Nizar said the status will be deliberated again at future exco meetings.
Nizar also announced an exco decision for the menteri besar to submit a letter later today to seek an audience with the Perak Sultan. This is to propose the dissolution of the state assembly to pave the way for state elections.
"We want to allow the public, who are waiting anxiously, to exercise their right to choose their government," he said.
He clarified that, although he will attend a royal investiture this morning in Kuala Kangsar – presided by Perak Regent Raja Nazrin Shah – the palace has not granted him an audience.
On his relationship with the palace, Nizar described that it is "very good", citing as proof his brief conversation with the regent before and after the royal address on May 7.
"Tuanku said that he can work with Pakatan (and) I accompanied Tuanku to the lift and to his car. The whole time Tuanku was talking to me. He didn’t say a word to (BN menteri besar) Zambry (Abd Kadir)," he said.
Policies to continue
Nizar also announced that the exco has decided to continue policies implemented by the BN government over the past three months if these are "good for the rakyat".
However, detrimental policies would be subject to review.
He announced that all 817 village development and security committees (JKKKs), sacked by Zambry’s administration, will be asked to continue their duties, while 318 local government councillors willl be sworn in as soon as possible.
On Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s apparent offer for a bi-partisan solution to the Perak crisis, Nizar offered a tongue-in-cheek reply that the ‘People First’ portion of the Najib’s 1Malaysia slogan needs to be adhered to first.
"The people of Perak want the state assembly to be dissolved. That is the wish of the people and it should be prioritised. Once that is fulfilled, I think we can talk," he said.
On the court decision, which fell on Umno’s 63rd anniversary yesterday, Nizar said that the ruling was the "people’s birthday cake" for Umno.
"We wish them a happy birthday. Accept this as the rakyat’s present," he said.
