that rembau MP

… why was he making so much noises in parliament? and he being a new MP too (whose win was also veil in suspicion).

i had wanted to post is on saturday but the post on the findings of the video tape inquiry took priority so i posted that instead. then i found out that helen ang had done a posting similiar to what i was going to do at the people’s parliament’s blog! she had expressed what i wanted to, so do hope over that to read ok.

basically what i had wanted to say was that since parliaments started, it seemed that the rembau MP@the son in law had been making news in parliament. according to malaysiakini:

Since the beginning of this new Dewan Rakyat session, Khairy has almost become the central figure in all debates. He is not just seen interjecting actively in fellow MPs’ debates, his name has also been repeatedly dragged by others into their debates.

yes! indeed! he seemed to be in the limelight when he was asking questions here and there (esp. directed at the opposition) and with his own statements and all that. didn’t he for once think that with his kind of attitude he will further drag umno down? already a lot of people had been blaming him for umno’s big lost at the recent election and now with his antics in parliament, unknown to him, he will be giving umno a bad name!

example, when he questioned batu gajah MP, fong about selangor’s MB recent announcement that all pakatan’s state assemblypersons in the state will be given an allocation of RM500,000, khairy asked (again taken from malaysiakin, same url as above):

"The allocation is only meant for Pakatan state assemblypersons. I want to know whether the same allocation will be given to the BN state assemblypersons on the principle of justice?" asked Khairy.

fong replied:

"I agree that the allocation is not party’s money but the rakyat’s money. However, before the March 8 polls, the BN also gave the allocations to its state assemblypersons only,"

[…]

"For the past 50 years, we didn’t get a single cent!"

haha! padan muka knairy! see, this is one example of him trying to be clever (touching on justice, if pakatan gave assemblypersons the allocation, why no give to the opposition), not knowing that all the while (for 50 years!) before 8 march, that was what BN had been doing!

then there was this childish act of him in labeling a name to the acronymn of PKR – parti khinzir rakyat.  an oxford graduate (and a MP) doing that? i can understand if it is a school kid who did that. i remember when i was in school (convent pulau tikus – CPT), we all love to twist other  schools’ acronym to something else. e.g. methodist girls school (MGS), we label it as monkeys girls school, st xavier’s institution (SXI) as silly x idiot. and being from CPT myself, of course we think of ourselves as college for professors training while our ‘enemies’ school like MGS and SXI think of us as college for prostitutes training!! haha. see, that was very childish…. suitable for school kids.

then of course we had the most recent incident that on the ‘planted’ answer read out by amirsham. according to aisehman, he gave the most silly excuse to deny it was a planted answer!

oh dear me! why am i grumbling about the rembau MP making so much noises in parliiament. actually i should be happy that he did that and hope he will continue to do so… because we will then get to see BN, particularly umno dragged down. way to go, rembau!
