warning from PM!
whoa! a warning from our dear PM.
and it happened after gerakan’s prsident, lim keng yaik request the government to reveal how they came about to the 18.9% figure.
yeah, after someone from gerakan, a non UMNO party spoke up.
badawi (since losing respect for him, i refused to refer to him as pak lah) was pissed off with how lim keng yaik asked for to reveal the methodology, that he suddenly felt that lim was insinuating something.
“Don’t insinuate. Why make insinuations? Insinuations, accusations bring no benefits. If one seeks an explanation, ask properly. Why seek explanation by insinuation? Why seek explanation by making accusations? That’s not the way to go about it,”
then he also said:
“The young people who question are also Malays; it’s not like all Malays are silent on issues.”
yeah right. then why didn’t you warn your own UMNO kaki when they insinuate something (racial!) so obvious. like one minister who accused the ASLI researchers of being of ‘a particuluar community’ with a hidden agenda. why didn’t you warn your agri minister, muhyiddin when he shot down ASLI’s finding as rubbish. lastly why didn’t you warn or say something to your daughter’s husband when he made that racial remark of chinese taking advantage of a weak UMNO?
why? why is it when it is only either gerakan, MCA, MIC, opposition that you get all uptight and angry and start ‘insinuating’ what they are up to? but when it is UMNO, you keep your elegant silence.
is it any wonder that these ‘puppet’ parties in BN dare not speak up?
for one thing, MCA and MIC are running scared. they do not wish to have any open public discussion on this issue. while in the meantime, former DPM, musa hitam said that the best the national economic action council (NEAC) is the best
forum for the government and concerned parties to sit down to talk.
well , it is all too well to hear that the gomen is prepared to reveal their methodology but after they had revealed it, and people point out the flaws, do you think they will accept it? already now many had found out the flaws (like how they based in on par value and not market value). i bet you after their revealation, and people start saying thier methodology was flawed, they will jumped up and down again, saying it’s enough they made public their methodology, don’t go too far to say our method was flawed. i can just imagine it – “we had now reveal our methodology as you want it. don’t question us anymore on this issue.”
read jeff’s blog here or lim kit siang’s blog to find out the flaws.
