calling those who have problems with emit asia

remember my post about emit asia (m) sdn bhd on 22 august? i complained about not receiving my readers digest subscription and how i had to chase after them many times. finally the boss said they will start to send me a copy in august… and will treat the august copy as a complimentary copy – sort of their apology for delaying my subscription. (sic). all those i wrote in that post and i ended with this para:

well, i hope they will continue to send me all 12 copies… er… 13 including the complimentary copy (sob. no choc) throughout the year, because looking at how they handle my order, especially the salesman, nicholas leow, it will be no surprise if something went wrong!

well! guess what!! true enough i have not received my sept. issue! oh gawd! don’t tell me i have to chase after them again? what kind of idiot lousy service is emit asia running?

bear in mind that after writing that post, 3 people had made comments that they too were ‘cheated’ (or delayed) by emit asia… and just 2 days ago… more than a month already after that post of mine, suddenly someone by the handle of serena made a comment as follows:

I have not received any magazine until late June, so I called the person that I made deal with (Nicholas), and I have finally started to receive TIME weekly since July. However, I have yet to receive any National Geographic magazine.

goodness!! can you believe that? another complaint! that made it to 4! i mean 4 persons who commented in my blog. serena here made her subscription during the april pc fair in penang too just like me and she was entertained by the same salesman i mentioned too, nicholas.

4 persons plus me, 5. and we 5 were the ones who ‘chased’ after emit asia for our magazines to be delivered. i did but again they had stop sending me the magazine. as someone told me, he suspect there may be lots more people out there who were ‘cheated’ by emit asia. emit asia could have conveniently forget to process subscription of people and many of these people will either be too busy to chase after emit asia or don’t know how to chase… and what does this means? emit asia pocket all the money!!

this is really getting serious. methink i ought to file an official complaint.. via CAP (consumers association of penang) maybe or write to the media to highlight the terrible ‘pretend pretend’ service of emit asia. i hope those people who had responded in my previous blog (mede, adam, passerby, serena) will back me up as i’m going to use their names.

are there anyone else who had signed up for subscription with emit asia but did not receive their magazines? or you received it only after you ‘chased’ after them? please give your names (and nature of complaints) here in comments (never mind if you don’t want to give real names). with this, i will file an official complaint against emit asia and hopefully CAP would take up the case to investigate emit asia.

consumers, stand up for your rights! don’t let your money go to waste… sucked by unscruplous businessmen!
