police let the mob rule (contd.)

this week i am very busy with work (office and voluntary) thus no blogging from me. what i can do is of course a CnP job… provide you with some interesting read from the newsgroup, beritamalaysia (for those who have not subsribe to it).
can you believe it? in response to nasri’s cry of “stupid”, one of the groups that protested said it was not stupid at all and even had some reasons why they protested. read about it here, and here too, where you can get to read on lots of other related news.

UPDATED:

now, only the star talked about this issue, when our PM spoke up. past days nothing at all from the star.

pak lah: forum ok but be careful
disrupted forum never planned to discuss inter-faith commission

the new straits times:

police will take action against protestors
PM: protest uncalled for

finally, the sun:

police to haul up leaders of protest

then, when i read this, i was pleasantly surprised:
businessman wants forum reconvened
as in my mind i was thinking of that too… that maybe the organisers could reconvened the forum. btw, i had met this ahmad chik before at our CNY bloggers meet at ong’s place. he is a nice friendly person. he sponsored our food for the other meet – the podcast, CMS, blogging workshop, though he was not present, and i think, if not mistaken, he sponsored the printing of the bus fare table for the new penang bus system too. i do hope to see the forum reconvened, and this time the police will do their job to see that it is not disrupted.
