the hotest topic now on everybody’s lips, is of course about the ’squatgate scandal’ - the video clip of a young naked lady doing the ear squat. hmm… squatgate eh? i suppose this name was creatively thought of by politics101, obviously influenced by the infamous watergate scandal? lots of posts regarding the squatgate scandal can be found no his blog, and also of course at the blogs of lim kit siang and teresa kok.

this is a beautiful picture of a makeshift ‘altar’ with the advent wreath and on the background, a batik painting depicting advent. it was at the prayer room of the college general (seminary).

yes, i was away during the last weekend, for an advent retreat, entittled “which way to bethlehem?”, which was organised by our office. we had the session inside the prayer room, which is a comfortable air-con and carpetted room. most of us sat on the floor with cushions. some older people prefer to sit on chairs. for me, i was more comfortable sitting on the floor.

do i mean cmos or yvy, or even the youngest, cheeaun? nah, cheeaun is 20 (right?)… that’s no more a baby. i meant ‘em all baby pictures lah! yep, lots of them all around us in the restaurant, ‘ice ice baby’. take a look at http://www.mistyeiz.com/2005/11/28/the-blogger-netizens-meet-up/ and you’ll see lots of them, though they had been censored (baby pics also must censored eh?)….. but can have a peek here and there at cmos and n305er blog… not censored, and here too i present to you here, in all it’s bare glory….

the bloggers/non bloggers meet yesterday see 13 people in attendance. of all things, i had to forget to bring my digicam. guess i was in a hurry when i packed my bags on friday to leave the house for the 2 days retreat, away from home. luckily i have my handphone camera to depend on. well, i would have blog on the meet now IF i have the photos with me. you see, i can’t upload my photos from my handphone because i do not have my bluetooth adapter with me. i left it in the office. so i’m gonna blog on the meet, hopefully tomorrow.

regarding the gathering this sunday for bloggers and non bloggers, since until now, peter tan has not responded, we decided to take the first floor. so all of you out there, if you are thinking of attending the meet, please go up 1st floor of the restaurant. or if you are downstairs, ask for jeremy to be directed to 1st floor. watch out for me in bright pink.

last week, i was away for the weekend… in port dickson. this weekend, i’ll be away again… but right here in penang. am going for the ‘which way to bethlehem‘ retreat, of which our office is the organiser. i’ll be part participant and part working. this weekend is suppose to end on sunday 4.00pm but since i had already plan to go for the ‘anybody and everybody’ gathering, i will be leaving at 12.30pm to go to ice ice baby, the venue of our gathering.

ok, this is in continuation to the post below about the police. so pak lah had spoken up… but what did he said? he merely warned the police to:
stop harassing women tourists from china and stop intimidating whistleblowers.
did i say warned? nah, it’s just a message spoken out in the cabinet meeting.

according to that nazri guy, the minister in the PM’s department, and also chairman of the human tights parliamentary caucus, he and pak lah will meet the police soon. well, i hope something fruitful would come out of it.

by now many of you would have known of the 4 women from china, who was forced to strip at the police station. one had been slapped and another had her money taken away. well, these 4 women had then identified the policemen and one policewoman who abused them. well, so we thought that’s all well and good… but it was a shocker, when suddenly we heard that the police early yesterday morning suddenly raided the houses of 3 of the 4 women… all because these brave women dare to accuse them.
