for those of you who have left a condolence message to pak lah at the office of the prime minister website, you would have received the following thank you email, which comes in bahasa and english. i append here, ad verbatim, the english one.

the email has subject ‘penghargaan terima kasih – YAB perdana menteri’. (appreciation of thanks – YAB prime minister).

although this message may not come from pak lah directly but from his office/secretary, nevertheless it must be him who instructed them to do it. it was indeed a nice gesture on his part. he is indeed a prime minster for the people.
