20 yrs ago and 10 yrs later

ok now on to the tag from bob. i had seen this before done by a few bloggers here and there, and i was hoping i would not be tag with it because, you see, this meme kind of give away your age (if you don’t know how to hide it)! ha! not that a lot of you already know my age. also apart from revealing your age, it will test your memory too. ok lah, i’ll give my best shot.

1. 1985 – 20 years ago
that was the first time i became an auntie. my eldest brother had his first child, a son. and since my mother takes care of him, it was very fascinating for me to see the development of a child from birth to age 5.

2. 1995 – 10 years ago
the year i first get on the net and went crazy over IRC.

3. 2000 – 5 years ago
made the big move. house i mean. used to stay in a workers’ quarters (town area), then move to an apartment bought by my sister (out of town area).

4. 2003 – 3 years ago
the year i started blogging!

5. 2004 – a year ago
the year i get on broadband.

6. 2005 – this year
early 2005 – an eventful time when helping out post-tsunami, cleaning up houses, collection of clothes, etc. also, because of my tsunami work, for the first time, and the only time, my blog was mentioned in a major newspaper in singapore, the straits times.

7. 2006 – next year
hopefully to own a PDA (personal digital assistant) by then.

8. 2015 – 10 years later
i see myself doing ESP -eat, sleep, play! what do you expect at this age? 🙂
