why people see sex everywhere?

justme pointed out this news in comments of the post about condoms. then i read about it in politics101 blog.

some self righteous people are making lots of noises over the picture of a model drapped in the jalur gemilang, that appeared in a men’s magazine.

“how can that be!”, “disrespect to the flag!”, “shameful!”, “take it down!”, “sue the magazine editor!” they cried. (ok ok i made them up but they do reflect people’s sentiments)

“humiliation to the flag!” cried the deputy internal security minister, noh omar.

the indian muslim congress of malaysia acting president, amir amsaa alla pitchay was evern worst – “it is so humiliating, the picture does not reflect patriotism at all, it is
just porn,” he said.

er… porn? excuse me, do you see sex everywhere?

this reminds me of a comment i came across in kennysia’s blog. some of you might have caught his one-time design blog 2 days ago, of which he had an animated picture of a small girl in a bather sliding down a slide (4 tiled pictures of it) on the top left hand corner, then his own picture taking up almost the whole design.

can you believe it one person wrote thus:
“my first thoughts are the video of the CHILD going down the water slide.. is that a bit paedophilic or what?! Please take it off it’s disturbing.. point made”

can you believe it??

then when kenny respond with:
“Why are these ppl calling me a paedophile when there’s not even a naked photo there? Kids are supposed to be innocent. They’re not even remotely sexual if you don’t think of them as sexual objects, you FREAK.”

i tak boleh tahan, so i comment thus:

“totally agree with you, kenny. they are damn freak all through and through. when i read one of those comment, i was so shocked. WTF? just a picture of a kid in swimming costume on a water slide make them think of sex?? freaky!

when you put a picture of a kid – they cry paedophile.
then if you put a picture of a sexy busty lady in bikini instead – they will cry porn.
so you thik better put a picture of a good looking man in his skimpy swimming trunk – then they will say you are gay.

*BIG SIGH* blogitics, kenny, blogitics.”

and do you know what? that same person made a comment back:
“When you put a picture of a CHILD IN BATHERS on a site with a HUNK posing like a porn star… do you TRULY not expect paedophilic thoughts to not go through anyone’s head?”

unbelievable!! gosh, i pity this person. or rather i pity his/her parents for giving birth to such a person with such a ‘i see sex everywhere’ head.

OT talk: did anyone notice my new banner put up yesterday? wits0 did and commented my flag looks like it is burning. no lah. it’s my no skill editing. i stole the pic from somewhere which shows the flag plus the map of malaysia. i need to stretch the size to make it long to fit my middle column size, thus i guess it is the stretching that make the sabah/sarawak map looks like it is ‘burning’. anyway, i’m sure you can notice the flag and the maps, so ok lah, i can still be consider the patriotic blogger. 🙂
