violence

on 25th june, in penang, a youth, asrin moshin, try to help 2 girls who were being teased by a motorcycle gang of 10 youth. he was beaten up so severely that he landed in a coma and subsequently died.

then on 5th july, again in penang, a youth was beaten up when he try to help an old man who was being harrassed by some youth. his skull was fractured and had to undergo head surgery. he regained consciousness two days later.

what has our world become? what is with society today? why are people nowadays so violent? are we now to turn a blind eye from doing a good deed, helping our fellow human beings in distress, for fear of getting beaten up? are we to mind our own business and better not get involved so as not to be in trouble?
