excellent result but no scholarship

poor ng ee liang from penang. all the certificates and awards for scoring 13A1s in his SPM exams come to naught. (picture from the star)

i know many had already blog on this subject but i just got to bring this up… in brief… very brief.
top scorers fail to get scholarship… why? i hope it is not because of this. ohh… it was? then i had better cry along with ng too.

i weep for my country. ;(
