nothing to post today. er… correction… not nothing but no time. came back from meeting after 11.00pm. then read so many emails and do other stuffs. so with nothing… here’s just a proverb:

malaysian arrested two americans suspected of promoting christianity.

are they aware that it is an offence?
can they tell apart the malaysians who are muslims and who are not? why, i myelf a chinese with dark-skined had been mistaken by my fellow malaysians as malays.
is it fair to detained them?

so finally the teaching of english and tamil will begin next year. what took them so long? now only they realise malaysians comprise of chinese and indians too? that they have as much right to learn their own language in school?

gee, if only mandarin was an elective subject during my school-days, i would have taken it up. as it is now, i regret i can’t speak/write mandarin. can speak lah but very limited (like ni hau mah, wah ai ni. haha).

viewtru tells us that being stupid is not a sin, thus here i am admitting i am stupid. (note no smiley. this is serious stuff, man. ahem!).

this reminds me of the time when the nias earthquake happened, at some places, the authorities concerned were so proud to claim something like “in a few minutes, we had evacuate everyone.” all they did were to be present with their fire-engine or what-they-have and with a loud hailer announced to all in the high-storey flats to evacuate.

this is one of the most ridiculous, unbelievable, out-of-the-world suggestion i ever come across from a mufti.

all i could say to this… a datuk, can you believe that, is “i hope one day your loved ones will get AIDS or avian flu, then let me see you cast them away on an island.”

i expect the malaysian aids council (MAC) to come forward to blast the mufti, and sure enough, there we have datin paduka marina mahathir, MAC president speaking up. the association for HIV children also spoke up..

…..only if your neighbour says so.

that is, if you are living in shah alam.

and next… you might have to fix a ‘poo bag’ on your dog if you take it out for a walk.
