no PC, no blog too :(

argh! my PC is not back yet. i hope it will be back this evening when my brother send my mother home. if not, then i’ll have to wait till the weekend. argghh!!

arrggghhhh again! i can’t access my blog in the office. since before CNY when we moved out of our office room to the ‘open space’ office (shared with POHD and others), though we are on streamyx, strange that there are so many websites i cannot access. our office 3 PC share the same problem – lots of websites cannot be access since we move out and share the streamyx. now we have near 10 PC sharing one streamyx line! before we move out and was using dial-up, it was better – can access all websites. i hope this problem will be fix soon because not only i but my colleagues need to access certain websites for work purpose.

now, the strange thing is that earlier (a week or so back) i can access my blog but since last monday, i can’t. and stranger still is that i thought i could not access blogger blogs but i can access the blog of lone, buaya69 and pok ku – all also using blogger. there are some other blogs using blogger i can’t access, apart from mine, like kstang, viewtru. but of course it is not only blogger blogs that i can’t access but many others too, like i said earlier, can’t access lots of websites.

no PC at home; got PC at office but no can access me blog at office… so… 🙁

as i can’t access my blog, i can’t respond to comments. however i am aware of the comments since i have email notification of comments from haloscan. and the strange thing is though i can’t access my blog, i can access blogger website, where i’ll be able to post… so here i am.

it is so boring at home without the PC to go online. i try watching TV but no good shows around, and will nod off while watching them! so what i did was to play games on my SE K700i handphone. thank god for that. i had downloaded many games from the net to my phone… and i was so happy to find my favourite games – lode runner, tetris, arkanoid, solitaire. these (and others) are enough to keep me occupied. playing games on the phone though drain the battery very fast. just one day playing a few games, battery level goes down to critical level.

ok here, i will attempt to respond to some comments – first to rajan at my post about lent. if i remember correctly rajan was asking me something about being a vegetarian.

no rajan, i had never been a vegetarian, not ever, not even during lent. however i do abstain from meat on ALL frodays (not only during lent)… only ‘animals’ meat as i still eat fish, prawns, eggs and so on. and this friday abstinence from meat is not a strict thing as i’m allowed not to abstain if, for example, there is a wedding dinner or friend’s birthday bash going on.

talking about being vegetarian… well i had resolved not to eat any other meats (i think i had blog about this before) except the 3 that i grew up with – beef, pork, chicken. if i ever want to become vegetarian, it won’t be for religious reason for sure but for compassionate reason. i can’t stop eating beef, pork and chicken because i grew up with them (and further my mum would have a ‘cooking conflict’ if i don’t eat any meat) but i can learn to not to eat the meat of other animals.

ok, now the comments about my PC (the post below).

yes, pok ku, i do hope i can get back my PC by today. if not… i’ll be chasing after gold while avoiding the bad guys (loder runner) or trying to steer my ship past some block of walls (arkanoid). haha.

dreaming, but apart from poor ventilation, i’m sure there are other reasons too why a MB can conked out? my PC started to have problems after i install additional RAM.

well, wits0, i hope i do not have to replace the MB as presently i’m now very broke. and i hope nothing’s wrong with my HDD too… i mean at least that the data on my HDD will be intact as i have so many important data there. well, i’ll have to wait and see.
