natural pic of me up permanently

it seems to me that the picture of myself i have it here (to your left) caused some confusion to many people. they see the picutre so pretty (ahem!) and expect me to look that pretty when meet me but was surprised to find out i don’t look like the picture at all.

well, of course i don’t. why? for one thing, of course the picture was not a recent picture… it was taken 4 years ago. but that was not the main reason that cause the confusion, as i believe in 4 years time i wouldn’t change much. well, the main reason is because that picture was a special picture. it was taken by a profesionnal photographer, after i had a makeover by a qualified estee lauder beautician. (btw, makeover here means complete face make-up with hairdo styling too). now, you don’t expect me to have a makeover each time i want to go out for work or to meet friends. so whenever you meet me, you will see me natural self (with just slight hint of make up by meself) and not all dolled up like the picture here.

i was thinking, to avoid confusion, and people shocked to see me not like the picture here, i decided to put in a caption for that picture AND at the same time, put up a current picture, a picture of me normal self, without make-up and all that. ok i’m going to be daring and put up a picture of me after i just woke up… a very natural picture, you see. oh, but of course after washing face/brush teeth. if it is a picture of me immediately crawling out of the bed, it will scare the shit out of you lovely people, so no can do for that kind of pic. btw, when i said i look fat i was not lying (hear that, cheeaun?) as you can see my face is so chubby fat. hehe.

ok, this picture come from my new baby, the SE K700i. it allows easy self-potrait taking, and with narcissism getting the better of me, i had taken several self-potrait of myself, some after waking up, some before going to work, some before going to sleep, some when i’m all dressed up. here is another picture of me taken with the K700i (by myself), 2 weeks ago, when i’m in the office.

i hope with the ‘old nice’ pic and the ‘new not nice’ pic of mine up with captions, there’ll be no confusion later on with people who pop in just to take a look at how i look like.

btw, how’s the CNY so far? how much angpow have you collected (or given away!)?
