sharifah aini charged?

remember the defamation mail received from popular singer, siti nurhaliza? someone was caught and charged but now a new twist appeared. it seems that, that someone, ahmad shaharil jamaluddin was the brother of once popular singer, sharifah aini. it seemed that it was sharifah who email him several allegations against siti. therefore sharifah was charged in the court yesterday for defaming siti but she pleaded not guilty.

in fact she was so shocked at the charges and exclaimed “i’m numb! this is just too crazy!”

also remember her report that she was assaulted by two men on bike? seems that after a police investigation, they found the report to be not true, but again, yet sharifah deny that it was not true.

hmm…what a puzzle. did she or didn’t she, i wonder.

some people speculate that sharifah might be jealous of siti so believe she did defamed siti. but why would she be jealous of siti? her glory days of singing and being popular happened long time ago, and now she’s old, so naturally a new young talent has to emerge (siti).

i don’t really listen or like sharifah aini’s songs (only malay singer i like was the late sudirman) but i remember her album in english which contain the rasa sayang song in english. many of the english songs in that album sung by her were quite nice.

i really don’t know what’s happening with sharifah aini now. let’s all wait and see. (btw, her lawyer is karpal singh).
