bush’s moral values gave him the edge over kerry
and speaking of moral authority in our homeland (my post below), it seems that moral values propel bush to re-election. so says will lester of associated press news.
it seemed that bush won among those states that picked moral values by 84-15, and also among those who picked terrorism by 85-15. he lost in the economy category though by a wide margin.
a majority of swing state voters had named, among others, ‘religious faith’ as the most valued qualities in a candidate. not to say that bush is very religous of course but kerry’s stand on his own faith is quite notorious, like once he said “i am a catholic only when i face the camera”. and of course him being pro abortion doesn’t help.
there are quite a number of good letters in malaysiakini about bush’s win, like ‘bush wins, osams loses’. hop there and have a look at all the others.
