ex PM, the tun’s jaundiced view

remember my post about our ex PM opening his mouth (er… actually writing a letter) to ask the muslim of US to vote bush out? well, it looks like someone had made a good response to his letter, a columnist from daily times of pakistan, razi azmi. i am particularly amused and impressed by the heading ‘jaundiced view, prejudiced prescription’.

i also like this paragraph and am nodding in agreement with razi:
It should be mentioned that, while American Muslims continue to enjoy full rights in the US, Malaysia officially implements a policy that favours the Muslim Malays — the bumiputras (literally, sons of the soil), to the detriment of the Malaysians of Chinese and Indian origins, most of whom are third or fourth generation Malaysians. Incidentally, the policy was the brainchild of none other than Dr Mahathir himself.
