mykad? whose kad?

well it has to happen and it did happened. the supposedly secure mykad had been tampered with. what a laugh!

i had never like mykad because of the many information it contain, which can be easily access by just anyone with a card-reader. our privacy gone! up to now, i haven’t change to mykad yet.

talking about privacy, it seems the govt. is now planning to come up with a law to protect the privacy of mykad holders. i thought this had already been planned long ago as i blog here on the personal data protection law. well i guess the personal data protection law talks about “providing adequate security and privacy to individuals in the handing of personal information,. while this bill that the govt. is going to draft is for mykad only.
